Darthra's decision to join the Darthrian Space Defense Force at the age of 17 was not one taken lightly. He stood alongside his closest friends, Mondaleu (a Pardurian immigrant) and Norlan, as they embarked on a journey that would test their limits and forge unbreakable bonds. During their time at the academy, Darthra's circle expanded to include Chophney, who brought with him a unique perspective as a Lyron immigrant. As they progressed through their training, Angora joined their ranks, forming a formidable group of future warriors.

-The events of the Great War.

Amongst the chaos of the Saplinia invasion of Nelma, Darthra displayed unwavering bravery as he defended Riannah, a skilled Xiansa soldier, and Paiyer, a vulnerable Darthrian cub. The young cub had tragically lost his parents during the Saplinia aerial bombings on the city of Glimmin (northeast of Pinoa). As Riannah looked on, a Saplinia fighter ship appeared, threatening to attack. With lightning-fast reflexes, Darthra intercepted the enemy ship, launching a precise barrage of missiles that eliminated the threat and safeguarded Riannah and Paiyer. This selfless act ensured the survival of both Riannah and Paiyer.

In the heat of the assault on Pinoa (a smaller city south of the Nelma Capital), Darthra faced unspeakable tragedy as he lost Angora, a cherished member of his squadron, to a devastating blast that consumed his ship. Fueled by grief and anger, Darthra fixed his sights on the culprit—Thurbin, Grunthar's younger brother—and exacted merciless revenge. This act of retaliation eventually triggered Grunthar's withdrawal, but it also kindled an unrelenting pursuit of vengeance against Darthra, setting the stage for a tragic and unforgettable conflict.

-Two years after the Great War.

During his tenure in the Darthrian Space Defense Force, Darthra and his squad, including Norlan, demonstrated exceptional leadership during an unexpected rescue mission. He tactfully intercepted a distress signal from the Commander Oomar of the Kittalina Empire and collaborated with their forces, including Holt to successfully rescue (the now former) Princess Saleena. As a result, this greatly improved relations with both the Kittalina and Darthrian Empire.

-Five years after the Great War.

In the midst of Xolaria's daring raid on the Darthrian mining occupation of Delix's moon Eroot, Norlan, Darthra's trusted friend and former wing-man, covertly contacted Darthra on the space station orbiting Delix. With Jrolle's assistance, they coordinated a strategic response to the enemy's radar jamming. As Darthra investigated the source of the interference, he was suddenly ambushed by Kolarvin. Undaunted, he engaged the adversary and radioed Jarolle about the enemy's presence. Meanwhile, Saleena, Rongu, and the rest of the squad flew the skies of Eroot to reinforce the besieged mining operation.

Despite the chaos of the unexpected raid, Darthra remained composed and in command, ultimately allowing the pirates to retreat. Darthra's strategic decision was guided by an unwavering commitment to his cunning plan to get the infamous pirate to join his team. Eventually forging "Star Squad."
