While stationed at Nelma, in the wake of the Saplinia invasion of Nelma, Riannah, a kind-hearted Xiansa combatant, witnessed the home of a Darthrian family burned from the result of a Saplinia aerial bombing, quickly she investigated to look for any survivors. What she had seen broke her heart, she sees a young Darthrian cub, crying out for his deceased parents as the flames started to consume the wreckage. She quickly took him in her arms to get the young Paiyer out of the burning building, as they made it out, a Saplinia fighter ship heads for their direction. Nearby, Darthra witnessing the events from a distance, he intercepted the enemy ship gunning it down into a fireball. Ultimately protecting both Riannah and Paiyer. With a compassionate heart, she took Paiyer to safety and eventually made him her own, offering him love and security in the face of tragedy.
